Long Beach Reviews
Rating 4.08 out of 5 26 reviews
Rating 4 out of 5
Since I was a little kid, I've lived here for a majority of my life. I always switched places from being here in Long Beach to home in Springfield, MO. I always enjoyed this place and I've always loved the environment here, but most places do have their flaws.
The beaches are a bit dirty due to an Oil Spill in 2010, which still hasn't been taken care of very properly, and most of the residents here aren't really young... Not that that's a bad thing, of course, it's just that there's a major clash between generations here, especially with COVID-19 and our requirements for masks.
Overall, this is a very enjoyable place in the life of a teenager about to graduate high school. Putting aside all the flaws, I believe this place is very enjoyable and perfect for new families and new neighbors.

I've lived here my entire life. It's a pretty nice place, a good place to make lifetime friends and enjoy time with family.

Grew up in this town. Nothing has changed in the corruption from the mayor down to the police. Certain people control the town and get special real estate connections on properties with huge upsides. The police pull you over and just make up charges that fit what they need. One DUI officer was fired due to entrapment of patrons from the local bar. The other DUI officer sits waiting to do the same thing. He also has moved on from the force.
